Ippei Nifwee deebiru! Thank you and Mahalo for your support at the SENJUKAI'S AWAMORI FESTIVAL!

The Awamori Fest event helps raise funds for our future recitals and provide scholarships to students who will be taking the test in Okinawa to further their dance skills.
This year we will have four students taking the test in Okinawa. Chikako, Anna and Sandy for the Yuushuu sho, the second test and Melissa will be taking the first test, Newcomer's Award, Shinjin Sho in the summer of 2008. Chibariyoo!
Also we are going to have our recital this year on November 16, 2008 (Sunday) at the Hawaii Theatre. Please pencil in on your calendar.
By providing scholarships, we are encouraging students to further their studies and to learn more in depth about Okinawan culture in Okinawa from our masters, Tanita Yoshiko Sensei and Kinjo Mieko Sensei. GREAT OPPORTUNITY!

We welcome donation and sponsorships for our recital. Please make check payable to Senjukai Hawaii and mail to P.O. Box 10446 Honolulu, HI 96816
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of you who have supported this event in the past. We look forward in seeing you again this year.

See you soon! |
